Specify that " Every pool shall be under the supervision of a person who is fully capable of and shall assume responsibility for, compliance with all the requirements relating to pool operation, maintenance and safety of bathers”

 

 

ANSI/NSPI Commercial Swimming Pool & Spa standards

 

Specify that "both existing and new public swimming pools (and spas) shall be maintained under the supervision and direction of a properly trained operator who shall be responsible for the sanitation, safety and proper maintenance of the pool, (spa) and shall be responsible for all physical amdn mechanical equipment and be certified..." (ANSI/NSPI-1,2003; ANSI/NSPI-2,1999, Article XX)
