"The Best Feeling Water"

The Summit in Kalispell , MT (MFA member) converts to Salt Pure®)

In late 2005 I was contacted by Bob Norwood , the Facilities Director of one of the largest medical Fitness facilities in Montana and a member of the Medical Fitness Association . Bob had found an article written about the benefits of a Salt Pure® system and was intrigued by the possibilities of replacing his traditional chlorine system. As expected he had many questions and admitted that he was a little skeptical that it could improve his water quality.

Bob had a UV system installed on all 3 of his bodies of water, and felt he was able to maintain superior water quality with this combination of UV & Chlorine. He was unsure that he could improve on that water quality by changing to another system. He decided to fly to Seattle to visit a number of our sites to see the system in operation and talk to existing users.

After his visit, Bob concluded that the “decision was a no-brainer” and had his system at The Summit installed by his mechanical staff, local plumbers and a contracted electrician in January 2006 with a full conversion to the TMI Salt Pure® Automated system and no down time to club members.

Quoting a recent article in “the Daily Inter Lake ” (a local newspaper),

“the most obvious change comes with entering the pool area. There's just a subtle smell of chlorine instead of the breathtaking essence of chemicals typical of pools.” Bob has also found that “some people who are allergic to the standard method of chlorinating have found that they can tolerate the Salt Pure® treatment. He said two such people now drive here from Polson (a town about an hour away) twice a week to swim at the Summit . “We had one of our aerobics instructors unable to continue teaching in the pool because of her reaction to the water who can now start teaching again.”

And to top it all, from a hazardous chemical perspective, the Summit staff like the idea of storing “plain old salt” rather than huge drums of chlorine and acid. Now, only small amounts of chemicals need to be stored for occasional use. Bob confirms that safety was also a major reason for converting to Salt Pure®.
