Dear Randy:

This letter is a follow- up of my personal observation and comments on the Salt System installed in July 1997 by your company in the Hokuloa Association's 60,000 gallon pool. Let me acknowledge that you made good on your promise that I would be satisfied with the clarity and sparkle of the pool water using the Salt Pure system. Not only is there less daily maintenance to be do but we are enjoying dollar savings on the elimination of chlorine chemicals. I now believe that this system pays for itself. You did not mention however how pleased I would be with the results and the unsolicited praises I would receive from surprised residents and visitors on how silky the pool water feels on their skin.

Prior to installing the system, our pool water had to be kept balanced daily. We had problems keeping the right amount of chemicals in balance, handling chlorine tabs and taking precautions not to inhale the fumes. Our pool water had to be shocked daily during the summer months. Additional chemical compounds by the gallons would be added to keep it relatively clear from one day to the next. Algae always appeared and chemicals to prevent algae growth was added weekly. I did not expect relief from the algae problem we experienced. I am surprised that algae has not shown up in the year we have been using the Salt Pure® system.

I have records to show you that the Salt Pure® system reduced our costs of pool chemicals drastically. In terms of dollars, we were averaging $400.00 per month in chlorine tabs and other chemicals. Now our cost is limited to four 50 LB bags of salt every other month. Cost: S72.00. ( exclusive of bicarb and sea clear which costs are nominal). I believe that by December of this year we will have paid for the Clormatic salt system in the savings from eliminating chlorine tablets.

My office overlooks the entire pool and I know now first hand if there is a slight change in the clarity of the water or any pool problems that may appear. Physical maintenance of our pool is as simple as taking daily pool readings and adjusting the chlorine production by a push of a button. It is a pleasure to view the pool with clear sparkling.

Thank you for your persistence in recommending the Salt Pure® system. It has been every bit and more as you promised.
