RE: Joseph's Aquatic Therapy and Salt Pure Water

 

This letter is simply to thank you for bringing us to Salt Pure water. As you know, Joseph was born deaf and blind and there appears to be nothing that medical science can do to change that. He's had three unsuccessful corneal transplants and his right eye removed due to increasing pressure from glaucoma.

But in the water, life changes for Joseph. Aquatic Therapy is essential for Joseph's well being as it gives him buoyancy, helps his equilibrium and offers the tactile stimulation he so badly needs.

When Joseph began with his daily Aquatic therapy he seemed to do OK with the chemicals but after a period of 3 or 4 months, his skin started reacting. Initially, his reaction seemed minor with an itchy, dry skin. But after pro-longed use of chemicals he started developing a sustained rash. I tried everything to alleviate this problem including rinsing him off directly after his therapy and applying lotions. The dermatologist could suggest nothing else to alleviate this problem. Joseph has no known allergies and has never reacted to any drugs – of which he has taken a lot in his condition. It began to seem as if we were going to have to choose between Aquatic therapy and these uncomfortable side effects.

Then we converted to Salt Pure water and this has changed his life. He is now back in the water every day. We never have to rinse him off, his skin feels baby soft and he has no reaction at all. His skin is not even dry. The only problem I have now is getting him out of the water because he loves it so much.
