I
wanted to take time to let you know how our TMI Salt Pure@ sanitizing
system has been working at our Aquatic Facility. |
CRISTA
Ministries which is located in Shoreline, Washington, has ten
ministries-one of which is Crista Senior Community that has
independent living, assisted living and nursing center levels
of housing and services. One of the independent settings is
Cristwood which has an indoor pool and an indoor spa. Over 250
residents reside there in 199 apartments. Residents have guests
and family members (especially grandchildren!) who enjoy using
the pools. As you know, Aquatic Therapy is a core part of our
wellness program. It is very important to the residents that
the pools be maintained so that they can attend their scheduled
classes. |
In
October of 1997, we commissioned your company to install your
salt generators on both our pool and spa. This was done due
to our frustration with the quality of our water, our pool service
did not seem to be able to keep the water in balance and our
guests were complaining of skin irritations, and the constant
smell of chlorine. |
The
change was almost instant; the water cleared up, the chlorine
smell went away and our guests commented on the soft quality
of the water. This allowed more of them to use the pool and
spa for exercise purposes. We found, over the years, that the
pool was easier to maintain and used less chemicals. We were
very pleased with your Salt Pure@ system, and your support turned
out to be consistent, and timely. |
In
2001 we had decided to renovate the entire mechanical room and
upgrade the existing equipment to bring it up to date. When
we polled our guests as to what they would want, the decision
to retain the Salt Pure@ equipment was unanimous. To them the
Salt Pure@ was the most important piece of equipment we had
for the pool & spa. |
We
commissioned TMI once again and also decided to install a compatible
Chemical Controller to control the chemical levels in the water
automatically. We also. had the controller control the temperature
in both pool & spa. Our work was completed in late June
2002.
Our
residents have always loved the feel of the Salt Pure@
water, but now they have another reason to enjoy the
pool & spa; they are consistently clear & clean
and perfectly balanced. We no longer have to manually
adjust the Salt Pure@ to ensure that there is enough
sanitizer in the water to meet unexpected bather loads.
The controller does it all! The water temperature is
very important to our guests and the Contoller keeps
it within a degree, consistently. Our daily maintenance
is greatly reduced and we only need to take water samples
once per day. TMI is also able to monitor our controller
via a telephone modem, which allows us expert backup
at short notice, for pennies on the dollar.
